Diagnosis and care of animal skin, ear, fur, nail, hoof, or mouth conditions are addressed in veterinary dermatology. Veterinary Dermatologists, in particular, need to learn know-how in treating allergic skin conditions. Intradermal allergy tests and serological allergy monitoring are other specialized diagnostic methods.
