Aesthetic dermatology and cosmetic dermatology is the brief study about the beauty treatment. Cosmetic dermatology is also known as cosmetology. Aesthetic dermatology and cosmetic dermatology is mainly focused on improve or enhance the cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. That includes surgical (facelifts, breast implants) and non-surgical (radio frequency skin tightening, chemical peel) dermatology procedure. In some cases can use both surgical and non-surgical dermatology treatment. Now a day's aesthetic dermatology and cosmetic dermatology gained a remarkable interest throughout the world.
In US there are more than 11 million aesthetic dermatology and cosmetic dermatology treatment performed from 2012 to 2013. In UK around 50000 aesthetic dermatology treatments were performed in between 2013 -2014, in that 90% of the treatment is non-surgical dermatology technique, surgical dermatology techniques constitute the remaining 10%. In worldwide there were 20 million cosmetic dermatology treatments were performed at the period of 2014 to 2015. Botulinum Toxin, Hyaluronic acid, Laser hair removal, Microdermabrasion, Photorejuvenation are most common non-surgical dermatology treatment, and Liposuction, Breast Augmentation, Blepharoplasty, Abdominoplasty, Rhinoplasty are most common and top surgical dermatology treatments in USA.
