Dermatology is the branch of science, which is used to study about the hair, nails, skin and its respective diseases in both medical and surgical aspects. A dermatologist treats diseases, in the widest sense, and some cosmetic problems of the skin. Acne is a most common dermatological skin disease which will primarily affects teenagers; in rare cases it can affect children also. It is involving occlusion of hair follicles and colonization of the plisebaceous unit by propionibacterium acnes. Acne typically causes whiteheads, blackheads, pustules, or more severe inflammatory lesions that can result in dyspigmentation and scarring. The treatment of this disease is based on the type and condition. Topical antimicrobials, topical and oral antibiotics, topical and oral retinoid and laser therapy, these kind of treatments is used to treat the dermatological diseases.
The global dermatology markets were reached at $15.8 billion in 2012; it was increased at $20.0 billion in 2015. The global dermatology market is expected to reach at $33.7 billion in 2022 and is projected to grow at a Considerable Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) 7.73%.
